Full Metal

As one of the GTAs earliest CrossFit gyms, Full Metal CrossFit opened in October 2009 (formerly Square One CrossFit) and has been a thriving gym ever since! The owner of Full Metal CrossFit, (Dennis), takes great pride in ensuring the environment is supportive, friendly, and welcoming and is a facility where anyone can come to learn about fitness and realize their potential while putting safety and technique first.

Full Metal CrossFit is a gym for everyone, whether you are new to fitness in general, a seasoned “gym go-er” or have a competitive background and are looking for something new to challenge yourself.  We treat every member as if they are part of our own family and take a vested interest in the progress of each member – nobody is just a number at Full Metal CrossFit!

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
