I started CrossFit in March of 2010 – as a way to train for the Ride to Conquer Cancer. I was a few years shy of the big 4-0 and desperately needed to get back into shape. I was introduced to CrossFit as a way to train for the ride – and it didn’t take long for the kool-aid to take effect, I was very quickly hooked.

The fantastic coaches, the members and community combined have kept me coming back for almost 7 years now. I received my Level 1 certification in early 2015 as a way to help introduce others into the world of CrossFit. Introducing everyone I can to functional fitness has been extremely rewarding so far. Proving to people that they CAN do this – no matter how old, young or what your fitness level is my goal with every class.

I can’t imagine doing anything else, the challenge of the WODS, the support of the coaches and members – I want to continue to prove that fitness doesn’t stop at 40.

As of February 2017, I became full owner for Full Metal CrossFit.
